 | The creator of this company, Steven Waters is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Television Production, specifically post-production. During the summer of 2006, he had the opportunity to intern with the Peoria Civic Center. Having worked on the production of commercials for the Civic Center, he was employed with WTVP Channel 47 in Peoria as a part time crew member and a volunteer promotions editor. At WTVP he helped produce a live, 4 nation, Catholic prayer service in Chicago for ETWN. In the summer of 2008 he worked as an intern at Iowa State University's Engineering College as a Media Specialist creating video packages that showcased various staff and studies of the college. Iowa State University continued to hire Mr. Waters for the Engineering Policy and Leadership Institute as a videographer. The top priority of this job was to create new and interesting videos for the 2050 Challenge from the ground up. The 2050 Challenge consisted of several live audience events at the university in which top minds from around the country in government, business, and education discussed the climate crisis and the possible remedies to this growing problem. The former Dean of the College of Engineering, Jim Bernard, proudly used these works for his personal meetings and promotions of the college. In the fall of 2009, after refining his skills, Mr. Waters opened Reel Life Productions. Now located in Peoria, Il with a reach from Peoria, IL to the edge of Iowa, he had one goal in mind, "To create the best video products in the midwest for our clients!" That is what we continue to do everyday. |
